Taking Photos With iPhone

As people interested in photography know it is not that easy to take a good close up photo with DSLR camera as you cannot get that close to the subject. You need a good macro lens to get decent photos.

As the distance between the lens and the sensor on the mobile phones are so little, you can get very close to the subject and get pretty decent shots on your phone.

Some tips on getting a good close up with your iPhone:

  • try holding your phone as steady as possible. Shoot “between breaths”.
  • try stabilising your subject; sudden wind or passing car can spoil the best shot
  • on iPhone tap the screen and hold it to activate AF-AE-Lock, to lock focus and exposure.
  • use HDR mode to get more depth in the shot.
