Nature in macro

  • “ Beauty can be seen in all things, seeing and composing the beauty is what separates the snapshot from the photograph.” – Matt Hardy

Yesterday I had my first exercise in macro photography. It was really amazing to walk in the botanical garden and see things that normally eludes one’s eyes. Like the nasty creatures sucking up the juices from the rose buds, or busy bumble bees in all their fluffy glory harvesting the nectar from the smallest of flowers…

It was amazing to see the world that was normally hidden to me, and the parts of plants and insects that are unusual and intriguing.

I have never known that ants have hairy behinds, or that rose lice come in different colours.

Now I feel more inspired to try out even more macro photography 🙂

Here are results of my work:

    So, What do you think?
